Lightweight refractory bricks

PROMATON® lightweight refractory bricks are produced from pure raw materials according to the casting or extrusion process using fine burnout materials and firing in modern furnaces. Production is quality-proven and certified according to ISO 9001.

Typical applications

PROMATON® lightweight refractory bricks are used in furnaces and thermal processing plants with low mechanical stress and without any corrosion loading. They are particularly suitable for use in continuously operated plants, such as:

  • Ceramic industry plants (chamber, bogie hearth and tunnel kilns) 
  • Anode baking furnaces, coke ovens 
  • Cracker and process plants in the petrochemical industry 
  • Combustion chamber lining
